Harriet The Spy gets a chic 60’s makeover with this mod navy trench coat. Featuring deep flapped pockets and a Peter-Pan collar that can be worn up or down, metal buttons, belt loops and detachable belt, sleeve plackets and button cuffs—it is versatile, comfortable, and lightweight. The coat is water and wind resistant, reinforced with flat felled seams and rivets. The coat is a size medium and was designed for a curvy or busty shape.
Garbedge Designs is a Brooklyn born brand temporarily based in southern Maine. Created by Kelsey Parker, all Garbedge creations are 100% handmade and ethically sourced with a special emphasis on repurposed and recycled materials--hence the name Garbedge--giving would-be trash a second life. Garbedge creates elegant yet tuff apparel with an emphasis on the perfect fit, durability, utility and a detail-oriented style. Kelsey has done everything from a Victorian-era inspired wedding dress and groom’s wear to heavy duty denim work and lingerie. In addition to original designs, Kelsey offers custom clothing design, clothing copying, and tailoring. She can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or @garbedgeclothingdesigns on Instagram.
Because Garbedge uses repurposed materials, Kelsey is always accepting donations to pick through. Bed sheets, old clothes, bags & duffels (especially those with hardware like buckles, zippers, clips etc.), belts, drapes & curtains, jeans, Carhartt work pants, and blankets are just some of the items Kelsey covets. Anything that doesn’t get used will be donated to a goodwill or the Portland Root Cellar.
